Thoreau's Story...
Thoreau is a playful and affectionate one year old male poodle mix that weighs about 12 pounds. He has long legs and loves to run or go for walks. Chasing tennis balls, squeaky toys and other dogs provide endless entertainment for this gentle boy. He is great at dog parks and in dog friendly restaurants. He is a quiet dog and loves to sleep on his person's bed at night, but he will sleep in a doggie bed if you insist. He does not like crates. Thoreau is good with cats. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots. His adoption fee is $200.
Please fill out an application for him at: http://www.dogsfurdays.org/adoption-application/ or email us with any questions at info@dogsfurdays.org. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thoreau, a San Diego Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
