Goldie's Story...
Goldie was born in February 2013 and has spent her life in less than ideal conditions and arrived with "something" on one of her boobies. Thankfully the something was a hernia and it has been repaired and she has been spayed. Goldie is a little shy but warms up quickly and has been around children and is good with some dogs. She has not been around cats. Goldie weighs approximately 50 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goldie, a Des Moines Beauceron dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beauceron for sale in Des Moines, or seeking a Beauceron dog from a breeder in Des Moines.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Des Moines already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Des Moines breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beauceron breeders who help with Beauceron rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Des Moines paves the way for another one to be saved.
