My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ernie's not a puppy anymore but don't tell him that! At about 7 years of age, this 13-pound Yorkie mix is still as spry as ever. It was a painful decision for his family to give him up but he did not adapt well when baby #2 came along. Ernie is good with children but needs a home where he will get a lot of attention, so one with older children or someone home a lot of the time would be best for him. We are told he is fine with cats but shy with other dogs, so we will be investigating his reaction to dogs further as there aren't any at his foster home. Not an aggressive bone in this little fellow's body - he just wants to be loved and the center of someone's universe! Here is what our photographer had to say about Ernie: "They don't come any cuter than this guy! Very impressed with Ernie. Didn't bark when I arrived, not shy at all, very playful and energetic. Loved him!"
