Taurus's Story...
This little guy with oversized ears is Taurus, he likes to play the tough guy but he's a real sweetie at heart. He takes a moment to warm up to new people and places but as you can tell by these photos he can be a sweet cat too. Taurus is about 11 weeks old (as of 6/10/14) and is the brother to Sagittarius, Libra, and Gemini. He needs to be adopted into a home that has a bit of patience for him, since he can be a little tough on the edges, we also do require that he be adopted into a home with a canine or feline friend (or one of his brothers) since he's still growing and developing. To meet Taurus today contact us now! You can also stop by Petco at 92nd and Broadway in Manhattan on Saturdays from 2-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taurus, a New York Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in New York, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
