Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beautiful Belle looks like a border collie mix. She is approx. 1 year old and 38 lbs, but she is underweight and will add at least 10 lbs. She was just a stray picked up by the local animal control. She is a really sweet and well behaved dog. She is typical of a dog that has had to guard her food when she could get it, so she does not like other dogs near her food bowl, so we just feed her apart. She will sit for treats and take them very gently from you. Overall, she is very gentle and a little timid. She is still coming out of her shell and if she gets scared, she will occasionally cower. She seems to be very well house trained. She gets along well with all of the other rescues, but has not started playing with any of them yet. She does not know how to play yet, but the other dogs will teach her. She also does not know what toys are – this poor girl was obviously not well cared for. It looks like her coat has been trimmed up somewhat and we expect that it will grow to a nice length - it is very soft and so pretty. She is a really sweet girl who deserves a caring home.
