Libby's Story...
Libby is 7 1/2 to 8 months old. She has spent most of life in the shelter. Despite that she is a very sweet loveable girls who get's along with everyone and everything. Not really sure what her breed is but she probably won't get any bigger. She's tall like a whippet or miniature greyhound and weighs around 20lbs. She current on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and current on Hw meds. She working on potty training as like i said she was in the shelter for 4 months. She has lots of energy and would do best with a family where someone is home most of the time, with a Fenced in yard and older kids just so she doesn't accidently knock a smaller child down with her energy. Please consider giving the cutie a forever home. She is currently located in Tucker Ga with her foster family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Libby, a Martin Dachshund/Whippet puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Whippet for sale in Martin, or seeking a Dachshund/Whippet puppy from a breeder in Martin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Martin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Martin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Whippet breeders who help with Dachshund/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Martin paves the way for another one to be saved.
