Angus's Story...
Angus is a happy go-lucky 6-7 month old boxer mix puppy. He is a medium energy pup who loves to play with his foster sister. He is happy to play if someone wants to but he can also entertain himself and likes to relax and fall asleep with his head in your lap. Angus is an extrovert with people and loves everyone he meets. He enjoyed meeting everyone at one of our adoption events recently. Angus is doing well with potty training and doesn't have accidents as long as he is let out often. He doesn't have any other bad behaviors indoors as long as he has chew toys available. He is also crate trained. The perfect home for Angus would include another dog for him to play with and a human who is willing to work with him on training while he is still young. He will be ready for his new home after October 9th.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angus, a Manhattan Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
