Reba's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Reba's Story...
Reba came from a hoarder along with 40 other dogs and it took her several months to get comfortable with us and the shelter. The last few weeks she has made a ton of progress but will need an adopter who can continue to socialize her to new places, people, and things. Reba is excellent with other dogs and very playful. Her tail never stops wagging and we adore her. Dog adoption is 100.00 and includes spay/neuter, heartworm testing, age appropriate vaccines including a 3 year rabies, health exam, deworming, and microchipping. Any animal 6 months or older is considered an adult. No animals are vetted until they are adopted as we do not have a vet on staff. Once the animal is adopted we make a vet appointment, and they must go to be vetted before they can go home with an adopter. Call 985.651.7387 for more information regarding adoption.

Act quickly to adopt Reba. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reba, a Laplace Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Laplace, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Laplace.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Laplace already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Laplace breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Laplace paves the way for another one to be saved.
