Facts about Diego

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Diego is a large neutered male, birthdate 2/14/13.
Diego is a black panther in miniature. Solid and muscular, Diego is very handsome. He is also very sociable and loves attention. However, he will hide at first. After some time to warm up, a patient approach and canned food as a bribe, he is a great buddy. He loves being petted and just hanging around you. He would be great with adults or a home with a patient teen.

All ARC cats are $50 adoption fee for spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, current on vaccinations, de-wormed and provided flea preventative. We require an application (does not tie you to a specific cats) prior to meeting the pets; the form includes questions that help us match those cats that would fit best into your home and what you want.

About Animal Resource Center

About Our Rescue Group...

ARC is a non-profit, no-kill pet adoption organization.
Our goal is to find caring forever homes for the animals, with an emphasis on owner education and pet behavioral support.
We believe that when owners understand a pet's behavior (evolutionary and history), they can then understand and are more likely to follow appropriate training and everyday care.

Our Adoption Process...

ARC requires an application which include a matching form so we can discuss with you the type of pet you want for your lifestyle and which pets would best be suited for your home.

We prefer that all family members come over to meet the pet so everyone is comfortable with their new family member and to answer any questions you might have. ARC provides free behavioral support for the lifetime of the adopted pet.

A contract and a $50 tax-deductible donation is required. If you cannot keep the pet, it must be returned to ARC, regardless of pet's age.

Pets are inside companion animals and cats that have claws may not be declawed.
