My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing happy Harley! She's a 3 year old Boxer/Hound mix that was adopted a little more than a month ago from Lorain County Dog Kennel. Her owner discovered she was aggressive with her cat and decided to surrender her. Harley is a friendly dog who loves car rides and playing tug. She does well with her house-training. Harley is a smart girl that learns quickly. She likes to give kisses and a snuggle during down time. She is very scared of thunderstorms and fireworks. Harley would love to find another home as soon as her training is completed.

On October 25, 2014, Harley was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. She is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison.

If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.

Please contact Friendship at 440-322-4321 if you decide not to adopt this prison dog so they can take your name off the list.
