Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Olive was found downtown off of the 10 freeway. She was dirty, emaciated, and really scared, but we cleaned her up and have been helping her ever since. We sent her to the shelter to see if anyone would claim her, but after a month with no interest, we pulled her to prevent her from being euthanized.
Olive is 1 1/2 years old, a black Lab/Shepherd mix, and roughly 35 lbs. She is very affectionate and loyal, and an excellent guard dog. She loves to curl up in your lap, and learns commands very quickly. She has incredible hearing, which is probably heightened by her large ears. She is blind in her right eye, as a result of early trauma. This does not affect her at all as far as I can tell. She loves rough and tumble play and can get vocal when she is excited. She is house-trained and is making great improvements walking on a leash. When she was with her previous foster, she came into contact with many different dogs, and she got along well with all of them. Olive is a bright and sweet dog who would love to have a home where she can prove herself to be a loyal and loving family member. Please contact Maya if you want more information or to meet this sweet girl!
