Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oh...the joy that is bursting forth from Brice in every way. He's free (and so excited) from a very scary high-kill shelter that ran out of space for this sweet guy. Farfel's was contacted because it just wasn't a possibility that Brice was truly going to face his death. This gorgeous (sorry about the before photo...we'll update to show the beauty of this stunning Poodle) guy is now safely in a foster home in Texas working on his home skills. He's also going here and there with his foster mom for further socialization for this naturally engaging (while initially shy) pup. Farfel's came forth to provide Brice with a new life that would be safe and respectful! Brice... an approximately 12 - 18 month old and 14 lb puffball...has the softest cottony coat ever. You just want to pet and love on him endlessly.
Brice is happily exploring his foster home in Texas with curiosity mixed with a smile that never leaves his adorable face. He gets happier with each day that he's free from the harsh shelter and celebrates in his own devoted and sweet- mannered way. When he's comfortable...he's a comedian that keeps all who meet him smiling and filled with love for his antics. In the end, however, his favorite spot is a lap where this great companion can cuddle up and show his calm devotion. Brice appears to like other dogs and enjoy their company (unless they jump on his head) but doesn't require them in his life to be happy...it's all about his people! We think he'd be great with retirees or a family with older kids who are present and choose to include Brice in their daily activities. He's well-behaved and learning all the time to be a dedicated and loving companion who can be taken along no matter what adventure his family is up to.
Brice is a non-shedding pup and considered to be the most hypoallergenic breed. He will therefore require great nutrition and periodic grooming to keep his coat healthy, cotton-soft and matt-free.
Brice will be transported to Denver on 9/26. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If interested in this exceptional companion, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com.
