My name is Toby and I was found as a stray on the side of a road in Quebec and after a month long search to try and locate my family I was finally released to CAA Rescue by the kind people who kept me safe. Seems as though no one was looking for me. So now I am in foster can and my foster mummy just loves me to death!
She says that I am good in the home with no anxiety or destructive behavior when left alone.
I am house trained and do ask for the door so that I can do my business outside I love playing outside and rolling in the grass. Really I am just a happy boy!
I do live with cats in foster care and I am very friendly with them, I do enjoy their company quite a bit but if your cat ignores me I will pretty much do the same right back to them
I saw the vet and he believes I am completely blind and have been for some time so I am looking for a home where you will be a little patient with me as I find my way around, it won’t take me long as it only took me three days in foster care to figure out my surroundings, you just have to consider that moving your furniture around on me will of course set me back a bit until I figure it all out again. If you have a dog or dog friendly cat that would be so very awesome for me because I am really looking for a partner to lead the way for me… right now I follow the resident kitty in my foster home around but he can be a little bit of a jerk sometimes as he likes to lead me into the neighbors yard …… ahhh the life with cats!
I do respond to all my commands in English and am ready to absolutely trust you all the way on our walks as long as you keep talking to me and I can hear your voice I know we will be just A-O-K. foster mummy says I am extremely intelligent, playful and kind hearted!
The nice doctor at Animal 911 said I was in great health and at the perfect weight range and he was so thrilled to see my coat so shinny!
So basically I am just a really good and sweet doggie looking for someone to look past the weakness in my eyes and see the gorgeous boy I am. I just want someone to love me and in return I will be you most loyal friend to the end and give you ever ounce of my heart and soul!!
