Wolfy's Story...
This is Wolfy, new to rescue. This poor boy is an owner surrender, no fault of his own, just unfortunate family circumstances. He is an exuberant 13 month old boy who LOVES attention. He will just drop at your feet and roll to his back for belly rubs. He loves to play catch with his toys and loves a good game of tug o war. He lived with another dog and 2 young children, but because he is a large boy in need of some training, we would prefer either no children or a family with older children. . . . . . . . . . . The adoption fee for Wolfy is $500.00. . . . . . . . . . . . . This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care, and adoption of our dogs. YOU MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION PRIOR TO REQUESTING INFORMATION ABOUT ANY OF OUR DOGS. FENCED YARD REQUIRED FOR ALL OF OUR DOGS. . . . . . . . . . . If you are interested in meeting Wolfy and providing a loving, forever home, please complete an adoption application at http://www.northwestgermanshepherd.org. Adoption fees may be tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) organization. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations and are microchipped

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wolfy, a Mill Creek German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Mill Creek, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Mill Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mill Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mill Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mill Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
