My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darla is an easy going sweetheart. This very happy girl is affectionate and loves to be touched and cuddled. Bellie up tummy rubs are a very good thing! She enjoys our 8 yr old grandson and doesn't mind his rapid movements. She loves her rope toy. She tosses it in the air and catches it or simply runs around with it in her mouth. She will retrieve it once or twice and then prefers playing with it on her own. She gets along with other dogs and loves the dog park. She is lightening fast, but also enjoys the breeze while laying in the shade. She walks nicely on a loose leash She knows to wait in her crate before coming out and responds to come, sit and lie-down, stay and leave it. Of course, she's a puppy so she needs practice. If her dog door is locked, she knows to whine, asking to go out.

She came to us from San Bernardino City Shelter along with two siblings. All three must have been well socialized or have great family dog DNA because they are all confident and good with young children.
