"Hey, everybody! My name is LIBBY, and I'm one of the sweetest dogs around. I'm a one-year-old Lab/ pit bull terrier mix, so I look like a Lab with short legs; cute and compact. I've got those useful webbed Labrador feet, so I have the potential to be a great swimmer. I'm loyal, loving, and affectionate, and I'd make a great family dog. I'm a good-natured, lively gal, so I'm sure to entertain you and bring you joy. I get along great with other dogs, too. I'm eager to please, so I'd love to learn whatever you'd like to teach me. I know I'd enjoy our time together while I practice new skills, and I'm sure you will, too. I love to be with people, so I'd want to have a soft and comfy doggie bed in the house. I'd also want to have my own yard. The shelter staff thinks that I've already been house trained, but I might need a quick refresher course when I get to my new home. Won't you come visit me? I'm here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter, and I want to go to a loving home as soon as possible.
