My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buttons 4 month old female Tabby and White Maine Coon mix
Standard Adoption Fee of $175 applies

Buttons is a classic kitten -- a tabby and white girl with a nicely spotted tummy and a very raccoon striped tail. Her hair is very soft and fine and as she grows, her markings are becoming more and more pronounced. She is adorable. She was alone and in a shelter cage for literally two months. How lucky she was that they medicated her and helped get over the cold that she just couldn’t quite make go away. That is a long time for an all-alone little girl to be in a cramped stainless steel cage. How bored she must have been.

I was in the kitty cold room looking at someone else and I saw her down at the bottom left corner climbing the bars “Get me out of here!!!!” So I did. And oh, she loves humans and everything. I had to keep pushing her back from my camera and from me because she is so affectionate. The photos show her in our quarantine cage. Unfortunately, she has had to wait for two weeks just in case she revisits her shelter cold. It hasn’t happened so we are moving her in a couple days to a social area. At least she has a window in her current space. I want to give her the world so she can run and play.

She is a very nice girl and is just getting prettier and prettier. She seems to be cat friendly and loves everyone. Having been of necessity so isolated with sort of sensory deprivation, she is now so happy and grateful to be out and about around people.

Some one will be very lucky to have her loving and entertaining companionship.

She eats wet and dry l food and is letterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
