Ray Charles's Story...
You haven’t known rhythm until you’ve met Ray Charles. This funky guy loves to get down, and will gladly serve as the melody in your life. He’s a 5 year old Australian Shepherd/Collie mix who loves his human companions. He is very friendly. Ray is lower energy dog, who is content to lie under your desk or next to you. Once it's walk time though, he's ready to go as soon as he sees the leash! Mr. Charles is house broken as well. This cutie also enjoys swimming! Ray is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ray Charles, a Jersey City Australian Shepherd/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Collie for sale in Jersey City, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Collie dog from a breeder in Jersey City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jersey City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jersey City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jersey City paves the way for another one to be saved.
