My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! Thank you for looking at me! Isn't the weather wonderful here in RI! I love the cooler, drier temperatures...so much better than the hot and noisy shelter in Louisiana! We were brought there by our owner, who could not care for me. I had a very matted coat and felt very afraid! Lucky for me, a really nice lady came and got me and took me in. She cared for me, helped vet me and then got me ready for my long drive up north. That nice Little Paws 4 U man took good care of us during transport and brought us into RI. It is a Category A rescue, meaning that the rescue has the least chance of bringing in dogs with contagious illnesses. Anyway, I am quiet, and am so ready for a home. I am not active, even though I am around a year...just like to be in a lap or at someone's feet. I weigh around 12 pounds. I can be shy in new situations, too. I would LOVE a family which is around in the day. Only children older than 10 would be good for me, as I am small . My fee of 395 covers all vetting, spaying, a Health Certificate, an exam by a RI vet, transport and I have a collar and blanket too. Please ask about me if you are in RI, eastern CT, western MA, Cape Cod, NYC or are near Boston, Worcester or the Fall River (MA) areas.
