Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fiona is a darling red Dobergirl with beautiful naturals ears and a docked tail. Typical of young Dobermans, she is very exuberant and absolutely loves playtime with her rescue sister Brodie. She is very happy to be finally living a dog’s life with soft beds and a plethora of toys. Fiona is rapidly gaining her confidence, but can be very shy at first. Once she warms up, you can be expect an endless supply of kisses and nose bumps. She has a very young and playful personality. Fiona is not afraid to show the silly side of this breed. She is very mannerly, and walks well on a leash.
Fiona was rescued along with four other Dobermans that were confined to a life of puppy mill breeding stock. Three of them (Brodie, Fiona, and Sacha) were scheduled to be euthanized rather than paying for their stage one heartworm treatment. Home FurEver stepped up and financed their medical treatment, including spay/neuter to ensure they will never be bred again. They are being fostered together, and are learning what freedom is all about. They are looking for experienced adopters to begin the next chapter in their lives.
