JACK's Story...
Jack is a beautiful, sweet, affectionate Beagle about 6 years old, 24 lbs. He gets along with all dogs and cats. He loves to play and run, long walks and car rides. Jack is great around kid’s and loves people. He was severely neglected and spent most of his time locked in a dark apartment with 3 cats. Never walked or played with. He has skin allergies that are easily taken care of with grain free food and a regular monthly flea treatment. He is a sweetheart and we want to get him into a situation where there is no shortage of love and affection. He will truly be a grateful member of your family that just enjoys activities and the wonders of his new life.
He is healthy, house trained, neutered, current on vaccines and microchipped.
Foster / adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not foster / adopt any of our dogs to households with children under 10 years old.
A foster / adoption application must be filled out PRIOR to anyone meeting any of our dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JACK, a Van Nuys Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Van Nuys, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Van Nuys.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Van Nuys already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Van Nuys breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Van Nuys paves the way for another one to be saved.
