Ruby's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Ruby's Story...
Ruby was saved from a local pound. She needed considerable grooming and has been shaved very short. She really has longer hair, but her coat is now very soft and a beautiful brownish red. Ruby actually smiles, which makes some people think she is growly. She is very friendly, would prefer to be the only dog, but will tolerate another dog if they are not pushy. No cats would be suggested. Ruby rides and walks well and a very sweet, sweet dog. She is very clean in her kennel

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Red Oak Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Red Oak, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Red Oak.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Red Oak already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Red Oak breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Red Oak paves the way for another one to be saved.
