Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, I'm Gunther! I'm pretty new at the shelter and was brought in a stray.

I am a very handsome boy with my red accents on my coat. I am still young and will need to learn some manners, which the staff is trying to help me with. I already know sit and am learning shake like a champ! They said with a little help I'll be the perfect dog and they will help me with that! Aren't they great?! I am very shy to new people but, once comfortable I am trying anything to please. I need an owner who will help me learn people will not hurt me. My past is a mystery, but possible abuse has been thrown around a lot. I get scared really easily at fast moments, if you touch me to quick, toys being squeaked or thrown to play fetch and definitely at males. I do not get mean, just whimper and move away. I get very attached to females and will approach a male that I know will love on me. I am great with other dogs, that is how the staff is opening me up more. So home with another dog would be great! I walk pretty well on a leash, but get to excited and will wrap you and I all up in it! I love kids cause I can kiss them all over! I'd do best in a home with experienced owners who will love me endlessly and open up to be the great dog the staff knows I will be!
