I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Daiki's Info...

I am purebred, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Daiki's Story...
Daiki was found wandering the streets as a stray in May 2014; a nice family took him in rather than put him in a shelter. An extensive search for his family ended unsuccessfully, so he is now in foster care with DCSIR. After some medical attention, he will be ready for a forever home! He is a friendly dog, acts much younger than the senior he probably is; he loves being around people and will nudge them for extra petting! He is great around other dogs, but chases cats.
Please research the breed before applying for Daiki. The Shiba Inu is not for everyone.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daiki, a Manassas Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu for sale in Manassas, or seeking a Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Manassas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manassas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manassas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu breeders who help with Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manassas paves the way for another one to be saved.
