Ben's Story...
Approx. birthdate: May 10, 2014. Meet Ben!! Ben was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico with no chance of survival if his rescuer didn't pull him from the harsh streets! Ben was rescued along with Jazmine, and we believe they may be siblings. Ben is only about 4 months old and 18 pounds. Ben is very sweet and loves to be with people and other dogs. He is very playful and very intelligent. He will learn commands very quickly. He needs about one day to warm up to his new surroundings.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ben, a Sterling Heights Pointer/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Pointer/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pointer/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
