My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chili is a Jackie's Fund beneficiary whose career ended with a badly broken leg. He is finally recovered and ready for his forever home. Here is his foster mom's report: Chili is doing very well in foster. He is a goofy boy who loves his toys and his people. Now that Chili's leg has healed and restrictions have been lifted, he is having a ball. He is a happy, active, bull-in-a-china-shop boy. He will be 4 years old in May.

A typical greyhound, Chili has two settings, play or sleep. Chili loves to sleep roached on the recliner or sofa. He routinely falls off the furniture when he stretches. Depending on how tired he is, Chili either climbs back up or just falls back asleep wherever he fell... There's a reason the vet staff refer to him as Silly Chili Willy. Chili would prefer to not have ANY contact with children. He'd be perfect for someone who doesn't have kids or grandkids, and will exercise him daily.

Chili is 3 and 1/2. He is not small dog or cat tolerant.

FOSTER UPDATE:

Chili has a happy, friendly disposition despite what he's been through. He LOVED playing with his toy -- so much we had to take it away so he didn't hurt his leg. Chili is going to be an awesome pet.

Chili is doing very well in foster. He is an active boy who loves his toys. Chili also loves his (adult) people. Now that Chili's leg has healed and his restrictions have been lifted, he is having a ball.

Chili would prefer to be an only dog and to not have any contact with children. He'd be perfect for someone who doesn't have kids or grandkids, and will exercise Mr. Bean daily.
