My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colton is nearly 5 and recently retired from a very long racing career. He is a handsome red male. His cat status is with work, but he appears to do fine with small dogs.

My new name is Colton. The volunteers said I have a new name because I'm starting a new life. I ran over 200 races and I'll be five years old soon. I'm really happy that I get to move into a house soon and be a "pet."

When the volunteers visit, I stay right by their side. I'd much rather lean on them than run around with a toy like that silly Rory dog. I'm hoping the volunteers will get accustomed to me by their side. Then I'll just follow one of them to the car and they won't notice until we're home.

I'm moving to a foster home this Saturday, so you'll see me soon at Meet & Greet events. I think I'd like to live in a nice, quiet home where I can just hang out with my forever person after a nice, refreshing morning walk. I practiced counter surfing at the vet, so I think I'm ready.
