Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! My name is Fancy! I’m about 3.5 years old and weigh 27 lbs. I live with 3 other Beagles at my foster home. Oh, and a cat. I am learning not to chase her, but it might be best if I went to a home without cats.
I’ve proclaimed myself as the official comfort tester of all beds, chairs, and couches in my foster home. So far, all have passed my test. It’s even better if there is a human to snuggle with!
I love to play! I will chase and wrestle with the other dogs. I am always up for a game of fetch or, at times, “keep away”, as I will grab a toy and take off and dare you to try and catch me! Tug of war is also a favorite! If no one will play with me, I’ll entertain myself.
Did I mention I love to play?
I can be a bit “vocal” at times, so I may not be a good candidate for apartment living.
I am used to having a fenced yard, but am learning about being tied out. Foster mom says I am really smart and picking up walking on a leash really fast.
I know most of the basic commands like “come” and “sit”. I even surprised my foster parents when I showed them I also know how to sit up!
I am house broken and get to spend the night out of my crate. I do have to go in it while my foster mom goes to work for a few hours. She says it’s for my own protection (I don’t want to get blamed for something one of the others might do!).
