DORA's Story...
Meet Dora the explorer. She's a 8 month old brindle and white mountain cur mix with the cutest little underbite you could ever imagine. She weighs about 27 lbs and is not expected to grow anymore. She earned her name by showing us how much she loves to play in the dirt and dig and explore. She doesn't dig to escape, merely in search of hidden treasures. Dora was rescued by us from a high kill shelter in Tennessee. She is currently being fostered in Tennessee by a wonderful foster mom and 4 foster doggy siblings who love to play with her. Dora is very sociable, does great on a leash, she loves children and cats. She is house trained and kennel trained. Now she is patiently waiting for her new forever home. Once adopted, she will travel to her new home via transport. Her adoption fee of 300.00 includes her spay, vaccinations and transport to her new home. For an adoption application on Dora please email Blues City Animal Rescue at baversa1@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DORA, a Nashville Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur puppy from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
