Hambone's Story...
Meet Hambone! He is such a laid back awesome boy. Such a sweet hound face and just seems to want to be with his people, yet his nose does make him a bit curious so keep an eye on him! ;) Hambone seems to do well with everybody except cats. Cats are a big no no if you want to adopt Hambone. That is the only adverse reaction we have seen out of this big lug. ♥ Other than that he is such a love! If you are interested in Hambone please visit peeweespals.org and complete an application. We will contact you to set up a meet and greet at our adoption center - 3018 N 16th St Phoenix, AZ

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hambone, a Phoenix Bloodhound/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Bloodhound/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Bloodhound/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
