Dixie-Adopted's Story...
.

Please meet Dixie! Dixie is a 9 week old, female, boxer-mix. She is fawn in color, with a natural tail and ears. She has been spayed, has had all age appropriate vaccines, and is micro-chipped. She was roaming with one of her siblings when a rescue person saw them and took both to the safety of her home. Dixie’s litter mate had been adopted, leaving Dixie in need of her very own fur-ever homes. We don’t know what she’s mixed with. She is in the process of being crate trained.

As with all of our very young puppies, Dixie will require Professional Basic Puppy Training so that she can grow into the best dog she can be. As with all of our young puppies, Dixie’s adoptive home is require to have a physical fence, so that Dixie can explore (as all puppies do) safely. If you feel you’re a match for our Darling Dixie, please visit www.fassasfriendsboxerrescue.com to complete an Adoption Application found under the Adoption Tab at the top of the website page If you are unable to adopt at this time, but would like to foster Dixie, please complete a Foster Application found under the Ways to Help Tab at the top of the website page. If you’re already approved for either, please simply email us at fassasfriends@gmail.com letting us know you would like to foster Dixie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie-Adopted, a Turnersville Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Turnersville, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Turnersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Turnersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Turnersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Turnersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
