My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adele is a happy-go-lucky young girl looking for a forever home. She has a wonderful personality and never meets a stranger. She plays well with other dogs and even likes our cats. Adele has a gorgeous brindle coat and an adorable thick-muzzled face. She has a stocky build and is quite athletic. Her legs are short and sturdy with cute white socks. She is gentle with children and is happy to play with older kids. Adele enjoys her toys and shares them nicely with others. This girl loves life and is going to make a wonderful family dog and companion. Adele spent a couple of months at a rural Virginia shelter before we found her. The shelter manager had actually taken her back to the euthanasia room but could not put her to sleep. It is hard to let any of them go, but she knew Adele was far too special to lose. Adele walks wonderfully on lead and will enjoy jaunts or leisurely walks with her new family. She is very well-behaved inside and is crate-trained and housebroken. Adele is one year old and is full grown at 44 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. Adele has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. If you would like to meet Adele please complete our adoption application form at www.cedarfarmrescue.com then call 336.251.8877 to make an appointment to come visit with her at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville.
