Greetings from me, Selena the Chiweenie, another member of the Red Hat Society here at WKCC. I am going to go over the unpleasantries of my former life and get that out of the way. I was with my friend Lolly in an unfortunate hoarding situation. They were using me as a breeder and i gave birth (at the advanced age of seven) to two charming babies who have luckily been adopted. then i found myself at Caldwell Co. Shelter. My life has certainly taken a most positive turn and I am very happy here with my trainers and other friends. My handlers say that I bond quickly to my humans and that I am curious and excited about life. I am a cuddler and while I don't actively play with other dogs, I do share my space hospitably with them. I have doubled my weight since I arrived here (from three to six pounds). My adoption fee is partially sponsored.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Selena, a Princeton Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Princeton, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Princeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Princeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Princeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Princeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
