My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Huller kept getting past by sitting in the dog pound…...no one was interested in an emaciated all black dog with fur missing. Thank goodness one of our friends who works there called me asking me to take him in. He was skin and bones and had horrible infected skin. Clearly another case of neglect. The only thing Huller wanted was out of his cage and to get some attention; although a big bowl of dog food made his day too!
He is now at our vets and has been vaccinated, neutered and is being treated for his skin and ear infections. He is only 1 1/2-2 years old and 50 lbs. He should be a 70 lb dog we feel. We believe he is a black German Shepherd Mix with Lab. He loves playing with other dogs, going for walks and getting treats. He will need some obedience work but is a loving boy. A catless home is a must for him.....he thinks cats are for chasing and clearly has prey drive. **UPDATE 3/5: Huller is now living with one of our trainers and learning all about good obedience. He is very smart so he picks up quickly. He is housebroken and crate trained. He loves other dogs and likes to play alot with them. He does have prey drive so a catless home would be best. He does not have a mean bone in his body but was clearly never given any training so he has all his fine tuning and is trained amazingly well. He loves to fetch the ball and has excellent recall. He is a working dog and loves to have a job. One on one with someone he settles very nicely. This guys is just a big kid at heart!
