Wendy's Story...
Wendy is a friendly cat who likes attention and cuddling. She is a lap kitty and likes to be petted. She loves looking out windows. Wendy is particular about her litter box...she prefers to have one all to herself, if possible. She gets along with other cats but she can be a bit bossy at first. Wendy loves people and adjusts quickly. She hasn't been around many dogs, but I am sure she would adjust to a gentle cat friendly dog. The only issue we have had with Wendy is a chronic sinus/cough that flares up when stressed...because of this, she is difficult to take to adoption events and showcases like at PetSmart. When she is there, she begins having runny eyes and a cough, making people think she is sick, however, back in a home environment, this clears up. Wendy is ready for and deserves a great forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy, a Muncie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muncie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muncie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muncie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muncie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muncie paves the way for another one to be saved.
