My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Skippy is a very sweet mixed breed dog who is shy at first, but once in your home, adapts to your family quickly. His foster family writes, "Skippy is a little lovebug and has become much more confident since he’s been with us. He’s an easy keeper – he’s completely housetrained and sleeps quietly in his crate through the night. Skippy loves being outside, so an outdoorsy family would be perfect for him, but he's also happy hanging out with you inside. We have taken him hiking, jogging, and to the dog park and he’s done great. He bounces along with his tail wagging! He enjoys meeting other dogs and is very polite with them. As long as new people allow him to approach them at his own pace, he will warm up to them within a few minutes. He was shy inside the house the first day, but has adjusted well. He will fall asleep on your lap while you are watching TV! He tends to be exuberant outdoors and calm and cuddly indoors. He will quietly seek out affection by resting his chin on your hand to be rubbed. With a little patience and encouragement, Skippy quickly adapts to new experiences. Skippy would do best with a fenced in yard. Skippy is in a foster home and can be seen by private appointment. Skippy is so special, we would move heaven and earth to get him adopted. Everyone says he is the easiest dog on earth. He lies on the couch all day and plays in the yard when you take him out. We prefer an adult home for him as he has no known history with children.
