I am up to date with shots.
Ash is a cute little girl of mixed heritage. She has a little Chihuahua, a pinch of Pug with a sprinkle of Dachshund. It is reported that Ash is house trained and leash trained, but not crate trained. She does have some anxiety during fireworks and thunderstorms so will need some reassurance during those times. Her previous owner said she is good with other dogs, but likes to bark at them upon introduction. She has lived with a Mastiff/Lab who was her best friend. Ash is a little timid here in the Rescue, but is warming up quick with volunteers. In a home of her own, once she is comfortable and feeling safe, we believe she will be the life of the party. She does know sit and stay commands, and she loves to sleep under the blankets. She is also known to sit up like a prairie dog.
If you want to apply for Ash click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Valley Humane Society. Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.
