Keda's Story...
Hi everyone, my name is Keda, I am an 8.5 year purebred, black, German Shepherd.

BDBH and my foster mom have been taking very good care of me. There have been no accidents in my foster mom's home at all. I know how to be good. She says I am the sweetest, smartest, honey in the world. I have been fully vetted now, up-to-date on all my shots, spayed, and get along with the resident Shepherd, and, yes, even the cat. I love the quietness of my home, and enjoy playing with my toys. When I go outside, I love playing with the Kong, and the big ball. In my foster home, I enjoy going into my crate to rest. My foster mom does not close the door on it because she trusts me in her home. Ya, I am that good. My heartworm test was negative, and I am on monthly heartworm pills, and flea/tick meds. I think my ideal forever home would be one where I could cuddle with my new family, do a little playing with my toys, go for walks, and just loving on my people.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keda, a Rochester/Buffalo German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
