My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Located in Mount Dora, FL with Misfit.

Hi everybody! My name is Star and I am a SUPER sweet 9 week old short stocky pit mix girl who is looking for a forever home. Have you ever seen anything more adorable than me? I am a typical playful puppy but I have a laid back and calm personality in general and in comparison to my siblings. My foster mom doesn't like to admit it but I am the favorite of the litter. I LOVE to be picked up and cuddled. One of my favorite things to do is play in water and the little kiddy pool at my foster home. I would do fine in a house with children, cats, or other dogs. I am crate trained and LOVE my crate. I will likely grow to a medium or medium-large size. I have shorter legs than both of my siblings so I will probably look more bulky and bully-ish. :)

Before you consider adopting me, please understand that I am a PUPPY. I WILL chew things until you provide me with chew toys and guidance on how to use them. I WILL require training in order to grow up and be a well-behaved young lady. This will include additional potty training (remember, I'm a baby!) as well as continued socialization with people and other dogs. I WILL require lots of play time in order to get me thinking but also to make me tired. Remember, a tired puppy is a well-behaved puppy. I WILL require lots of your time so if you work a full day and plan to use the crate for long periods of time, perhaps an older dog would better suit your lifestyle. Please check out our list of other adoptable animals.

If you have read all of this information and are ready to accept the responsibility of raising a puppy, please contact my foster mom Debbie at dshank1105@gmail.com.

My adoption donation is $150 and I come spayed, vaccinated, de-flead, de-wormed, and microchipped.
