Nala's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.

Nala's Story...
Nala is a 1-2 year old Pointer/Australian Shepherd mix. She is 35lbs but should be around 40-45. Her foster mom is working on getting some weight on her. Unfortunately her owner fell ill and was unable to take care of her any longer. She is a very affectionate little girl, that loves to be near you, give kisses and to be loved on. Nala is great with other dogs and wonderful with children. She is a bit bouncy so she would do best in a home with older children. She would also do best in a home without cats or small pets. She would make a wonderful agility dog, jogging or hiking partner. Being a young dog she does still have plenty of energy. Having another dog to run and play with, would be ideal, or someone that plans on giving her a lot of their time and attention. She is a very smart young dog and will make someone an awesome four legged member of their family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nala, a Cincinnati Australian Shepherd/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Pointer for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Pointer dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Pointer breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
