My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly is a wonderful girl that will make a great companion for any family. She is great with people of all ages including respectful children. She is calm and quiet in the home, loves to get lots of affection and enjoys going for walks or romping in the backyard. She is a good mid sized dog that can be enjoyed by the entire family. Molly is a young girl approximately 8 - 10 mos old and currently weighs 30 lbs.

Here is what her foster family had to say:

Molly loves everyone and is very mindful of children. She does not jump on children she meets and loves attention from anyone. She will bark a couple of times and growl at someone who enters the house she doesn't know, but warms up to them once she feels there is no harm to her or her person. We have not had Molly around cats but she has done okay with our Guinea Pigs when they are out but she does try to claw the cage when they are running inside. She would probably like to play with a cat. Molly actually loves to play with other dogs. She does have puppy energy however so another friendly young dog to play with would be ideal for her. She is very respectful however and soon knows her place when an older dog has had enough. Molly can be shy with some people and will keep her distance until she is comfortable and then it's kisses for everyone.

Molly is a very calm dog who lets you do anything to her. I food tested her because of the kids and she passed with flying colours. You can take things out of her mouth with no problem such as toys or food. She is crated at night and when we go out. It is hard to get her to go into the crate but once she is, she settles down and stays quietly until your return to let her out again. Molly loves to play with her ball and loves to just be around her person.

Molly is learning her basic commands and how to behave in a home. We are working on teaching her to "sit" which still needs some work but she understands drop it, leave it, no and wait (or stay as some people say). As she is a puppy she still needs to be supervised as she will get into things if left alone. She is currently learning to walk nicely on leash and is coming along great. She will need someone that will continue with her training and further socialization.

Molly is a very loveable girl. She learns fast, and is a sociable dog to both people and other pets. She would do best in any situation but would thrive with having a lot of interaction with children and adults. She will love a backyard to run off that puppy energy. She is an active puppy that needs continued training and she will grow into a wonderful family companion.

If you think Molly would be a good choice for your family, please submit an application for consideration.
