My story

Say Hello to Jake! This energetic guy has had a heartbreaking couple of months! He was adopted by a couple from a rescue group when he was only 13 weeks old. Jake lived happily with his family for 3 years until his owners had a baby of their own and Jake had a hard time adjusting. So Jake was surrendered to our shelter. We held out hope that Jake would only be with us for a short while. We reached out to the rescue he was originally adopted from and asked if they would take him back. For weeks they gave us hope that they would come and get him and bring him into a foster home, but the timing was never convenient for them. Until one day, after we had reached out several times with no response, they told us that they didn't want him. This poor guy was rejected once again!
But we believe that there is a home out there for Jake! This quirky guy is a lot of fun! He LOVES to play ball and go for hikes! Jake is an active boy and would do well in a home without other dogs and kids over the age of 10. Please consider giving this guy a chance! No one else has!
