Devon's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Devon's Story...
Devon is about 3 months old. He is a very sweet little guy. Devon loves to run an play with his foster brothers and to get brushed. He has become special friends with Rockie, a shy kitten, and we would like them to be adopted together.
Update: Devon is now about 4 months old and has been growing up. He is much more independent and is exploring new areas of his foster home. Although Rockie and Devon are still great friends he will be fine adopted without Rockie into a home with other cats and/or dogs. He is used to adult cats and dogs. He is very friendly and loving, when he is really happy he makes biscuits, purrs loudly and drools a little! His favorite time of day is treat time but he still shares with everyone else.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Devon, a San Leandro Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Leandro, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in San Leandro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Leandro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Leandro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Leandro paves the way for another one to be saved.
