Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I would like to introduce you to the opposite of what you think a Chihuahua is. I know what you're thinking as soon as you see the word 'Chihuahua,' NO, I don't want one of those snappy, grumpy, miserable little ankle bitters!! This little girl has never even tried to bite anyone. I don't think she knows how to be mean. She has never bitten or gotten grumpy with any other dogs or cats for that matter. She doesn't get mean with the vet or the groomer. She wiggles a lot but never even growled.
All this little sweetie wants is to be near her human. We call her velcro dog. She's happy playing couch potato, by your side, going for car rides, by your side, if you're busy all day, she's still happy as long as she can see you and you touch or talk to her every now & then.
She doesn't bark very much, only when she hears me come home. She's very smart & LOVES anything called FOOD!!
Of course she's not perfect, who is? She's not completely potty trained, although we're working on it. She will growl a little when she's in my lap & other dogs want the same spot. But if you use your disapproving voice, she stops immediately. If she's feeling too stressed or 'left out' she may find the corner of a blanket to be a great chewing source.
But all of these not so perfect things, you may find with any dog. They have nothing to do with her breed.
Please reconsider your thoughts on Chihuahuas. Meet her one time. You'll love her as much as I do!!
