Good day mate! My names Rocko and I am currently looking for my forever home. I am a 21 year old Goffin's cockatoo also known as a Velcro bird. I love my foster mommy but willingly go to women AND men so it is hard to tell who I like best. I love a good head scratch and won't be overly picky about who gets the chance to make me happy. Also, don't let my small stature fool you - I am a gallon of personality jammed into a pint sized body and will entertain you for hours with my antics. I will need someone that has plenty of time to love on me and to play and let me out during the day. I do have a nervous habit of plucking or over grooming myself but, it has improved since coming in to foster care. I am currently on a diet of pellets, safflower gold (not sunflower) and Tropimix parrot. I also eat chop, fresh fruits and vegetables….my foster mom says I haven’t met a food I don’t like! I'm a fun loving little guy that just needs the right family and would love becoming part of yours!

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
