Joyful Jim's Story...
Hi! my name is Jim and I am looking for a loving, forever home. My mom was abandoned on a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico called Dead Dog Beach when she was pregnant with my sister and me. Our foster mom in Puerto Rico absolutely loved and adored us and now our foster family in Brooklyn thinks we are too cute and playful for words :)). My mom was adopted several weeks ago and now I hope it is my turn. I will provide lots of love and fun to any family that adopts me. I am 4.5 months old and 14 lbs. If you would like to meet me please reach out to us at adoption@thesatoproject.com. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses Jim :)).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joyful Jim, a Madison Dachshund/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Labrador Retriever for sale in Madison, or seeking a Dachshund/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Dachshund/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
