for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

PETE's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

PETE's Story...
I know what happens to hunting dogs. They spend their lives in outdoor pens and their only joy is chasing rabbits and squirrels. When they can no longer hunt as well, they are disposed of. The lucky ones go to a shelter. Others meet a more horrible demise.

My name is Pete and I was supposed to be a hunting dog. I did not do well and my owner surrendered me to a shelter. Then I was trasferred to Penny Angels Beagle Rescue.

I am two years old and am a smaller Beagle. I am somewhat shy when I first meet new people but warm up when I feel comfortable. I love to be with other dogs and would make a great "Beagle Buddy".

Please call Penny Angels Beagle Rescue at 609-965-9476 to meet me and see what a great dog I am.. An adoption or foster application may be obtained at beagler534@comcast.net or kimbar12@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PETE, a Ventnor City Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Ventnor City, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Ventnor City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ventnor City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ventnor City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ventnor City paves the way for another one to be saved.
