My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bourbon was rescued from a local kill shelter where he had been brought in as a stray. He has the notched ear of a
"feral," but he is anything but! On a Sunday afternoon after a busy weekend of adoptions at the shelter, his future
foster mom stopped in to see what they still had. Bourbon was the only available cat that had not been adopted
except for ferals and those not available because they were still on stray hold. All the cute kittens had been adopted
and everything else, but this awesome cat was still there. The FFAR volunteer picked him up and tossed him around.
She held him upside down like a baby and rubbed his belly. She opened his mouth and held it open and during all of
this abuse, he just hung out peacefully and happily. When they drew blood for a test, he didn't even complain when
she stuck him twice in his leg with the needle. This is an awesome cat! He may not be fluffy or colorful or a kitten, but
in personality he is king. He gets along with other cats, dogs, and kids. It is unknown how Bourbon got his ear
notched and where he came from - possibly someone dumped him in a feral colony and he was neutered and
released. There is no doubt this friendly sweet cat at one time had a home. If only he could talk and tell us how he
ended up in a kill shelter! Bourbon is a fantastic kitty. Please adopt this big boy with the notched ear today! All he
needs is YOU!

P.S. I may be big but I sure LOVE to play! Check out my video!
