My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Rusty!
I'm a little over a year old. I'm neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. I'm also 65 lbs of all muscle and probably still growing! You may wonder how such a handsome, young bulldog ended up with CEBR. Well my previous family loved me lots but had four other dogs in the household. One day there was an accident and I ended up with a huge gash in my ear that needed surgery and my family knew CEBR was the best chance I had for a smooth recovery. I've since had surgery and am 100% healed!

My foster family gushes over how handsome and sweet I am. I love to cuddle and pretend I'm my foster parent's shadow. 'm very low maintenance on the grooming front as well. I also love spending time outside. I've got tons of energy and enjoy taking multiple long walks a day, playing fetch and wrestling. I also have a foster brother who I'm best friends with and enjoy spending time with. One of my other favorite activities is taking a snooze on the couch, but I'm also crate trained and don't mind spending the night in my crate.

While I'm quickly getting acclimated (and loving) in-door living, I used to be an outdoor dog. As a result, I need a family that will be dedicated to my continued training. I'm a very smart dog and catch on to things quickly. In the short time I've been with my foster family I've already learned to sit, stay and I'm getting better at walking on a leash everyday! With that being said, I still need some potty training and leash skills work. I'm also still a puppy, so I need help learning that not all things are chew toys.

My perfect forever home would be one with either a yard or a family that is committed to exercise and playtime. I also do great with other dogs and would be happy to have dog siblings. Because I'm still very young my perfect home would also include someone that can give me lots of attention and who is patient while I continue to perfect my manners.

It’s time to say goodbye, but you know where to find me. On the couch snoring or in the park chasing balls.

Our adoption criteria for Rusty are as follows:

1. A family that has a lot of time to devote to me.
2. A family who is dedicated to training me.
3. OPTIONAL: I think I would like a home with another dog. I love all dogs I meet and love to wrestle.
