My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ivy is looking for her forever home. Ivy and her brother Bane were found wandering the streets in Los Angeles. Ivy was covered in scars and seemed to be fearful, clinging to her brother. However, she is thriving in her foster home and really came out of her shell. She loves to chew on bones, chase bugs, and play in kiddie pools with her brother. Her brother has been adopted but Ivy remains in the same foster home as him. They enjoy each other's company but Ivy would like to find a home where she can be the only lady canine of the house (she currently shares her home with one other female dog as well). Ivy would do best with mellow male dogs; she also wouldn't mind being the only dog in the home. She is unbelievably smart and intuitive. She is super affectionate towards humans and would make someone's greatest sidekick. Our vet estimates Ivy to be born sometime in February 2010. She is spayed and up to date on shots now and ready to go home!
